About Crisanteme
We write the reviews we wished existed before we made our own purchases.
Crisanteme Ltd was founded in late 2025 with a straightforward premise: the gap between marketing language and actual product performance has grown too wide. Every week, thousands of professionals in the United Kingdom invest in tools based on press releases rather than hands-on experience. We exist to narrow that gap.
Our editorial office sits above the bustle of Shelton Street in Covent Garden, a location chosen partly for its proximity to the creative agencies and tech startups whose employees read our reviews during their lunch breaks. We are a small team by design. Four writers, one photographer, and an editor who still believes that the best review is the one that makes the reader feel as though they have held the product themselves.
Our Review Philosophy
We do not accept payment for reviews. Products arrive through standard retail channels, purchased anonymously or accepted on loan with the explicit condition that manufacturers receive no advance copy of our conclusions. If a keyboard feels cheap, we say so. If a monitor colour profile is inaccurate for professional work, we document the Delta E values. Our only constituency is the reader making a purchasing decision.
Every product featured on this site undergoes a minimum two-week evaluation period in real working conditions. Mechanical keyboards are typed on for full working days. Headphones are worn through commutes, video calls, and focused listening sessions. Monitors are calibrated and measured against reference standards. The resulting articles are long because thoroughness cannot be compressed into bullet points.
Affiliate Disclosure
Crisanteme Ltd participates in select affiliate marketing programmes. When you click a link on our site and complete a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This revenue supports our independent testing programme and allows us to purchase products rather than rely on manufacturer loan units. We disclose affiliate relationships transparently within every article, and our editorial conclusions are never influenced by potential commission structures.
If you find our work useful, the most direct way to support us is to use our affiliate links when you make purchasing decisions. It costs you nothing and funds the next review.
Editorial Standards
Accuracy matters. If a specification in one of our articles is incorrect, we correct it within twenty-four hours of notification and append a dated changelog to the piece. If our opinion of a product shifts after a firmware update or hardware revision, we update the review and clearly mark what has changed. The internet is littered with outdated reviews that mislead buyers. We refuse to contribute to that archive.
We also decline to review products in categories where we lack expertise. You will not find smartphone camera comparisons on this site because none of us are photographers. You will find mechanical keyboards, ergonomic furniture, productivity software, and audio equipment because these are the tools we use daily and understand deeply.
Have a Product Suggestion?
We welcome reader suggestions for upcoming reviews. If there is a tool you are considering and would like to see covered in depth, send us a note.
